At NRG PALLAS, we work daily on the production of medical isotopes, which are used worldwide for the diagnosis and treatment of serious diseases such as cancer. From our High Flux Reactor (HFR) in Petten, we supply 30% of the global demand for isotopes and support millions of patients annually. In addition to our core activity, we focus on nuclear innovations and ensuring safety within our processes and facilities.
Our responsibilities bring complex challenges. We work with a high degree of precision and comply with strict regulations, while continuously improving our processes. To achieve this, we collaborate with MareVisie, a partner who understands our industry and supports us at both strategic and operational levels.
Projects with MareVisie
MareVisie’s technical project managers contribute to various important projects within NRG PALLAS, including:
- Automation of planning processes (FUTURE): MareVisie helps us analyze and digitize our planning for the irradiation of medical isotopes. This improves the efficiency and accuracy of our operations.
- Development of process equipment for the production of medical isotopes (MINERVA): MareVisie provides project management expertise for the realization of an improved irradiation technique for isotope production.
- Transport of radioactive waste: MareVisie supported us in the process development for the transport of radioactive waste to COVRA.
- Nuclear license modifications: MareVisie guided us through important changes in our licenses (Nuclear Energy Act), working closely with the government and other stakeholders.
