Elevating Efficiency and Safety Together with MareVisie
Due to a shortage of qualified personnel, we faced the challenge of improving our production processes and quickly responding to technical issues. So we set out to find reinforcement for our team of technicians and project managers. After a conversation with MareVisie, we decided to enlist their expertise for temporary support on various projects within our organization.
As a world leader in linoleum, with a market share of 65%, Forbo Flooring B.V. produces and supplies floor coverings to both the project and consumer markets. We operate from 14 production locations worldwide and have a network of 38 sales offices.
Despite our strong market position, we encountered some operational challenges, particularly within our linoleum production process. We therefore initiated various projects, focusing on different technical areas such as cooling technology, ventilation, recycling, logistics, machine construction, and process monitoring. The emphasis here was not only on addressing specific issues but also on strengthening project-based work, where project groups work independently and provide direction. Additionally, a hands-on presence in the factory was needed to ensure progress and directly contribute to the implementation.
