Successful Implementation of SPRINT Program at Eneco
MareVisie supports Eneco in the split into 2 independent companies in accordance with the WON. Within the strategic program SPRINT, MareVisie was responsible for the disentanglement of the company-wide SAP system and all other IT systems.
Eneco, one of the top 3 energy companies, had to restructure its activities as a result of the Splitting Act (WON) This meant that Eneco Netbeheer and Eneco Infra had to operate as separate entities, a complex split in existing business processes and IT systems.
The program SPRINT was set up to guide this transition. A crucial and major part of this was the split of the SAP ERP. This accomplished the separation in processes and responsibilities. An additional challenge was setting up departments that did not exist before with processes that previously only ran within 1 department and after the split had to be performed partly by a customer department and partly by a supplier department.
The MareVisie Approach
MareVisie ensured a clear and structured implementation, working closely with various departments within Eneco. Our approach included:
- Managing the SAP (Atos) and IT (Capgemini) expertise partners
- Guidance of the organizational structure and translation into IT processes
- Simulations of future processes to identify potential bottlenecks in advance.
- Setting up and managing the change process including training and support of employees on the work floor with a floor support team.
- Setting up and coordinating a central PMO for tight control and daily reporting.
- Support in contract discussions between Netbeheer and Infra after delivery.
- Business consultancy architecture for BI reporting
