“Project management is the path to a goal. Formulating the right goal and regularly testing the end result against the goal is crucial for project success.” From IT and process architecture we create the framework for the goal. This guarantees the future-proofing of project results. As an aerospace engineer (TU Delft) and IT architect (Middlesex University), looking and thinking in processes and systems is something I was brought up with. This has parallels with my hobbies: rugby, cycling, soccer and photography (especially sports). The broad interest and at the same time very detailed zooming in, but also zooming out again, is used in my daily work. It helps to really grasp the details while always keeping an eye on the big picture.
